APPRENTICE (INTERNSHIP)
The Role
The Apprentice can expect to be plugged into various projects, and get exposed to a range of tasks as they support the multi-disciplinary team.
At SHCO, we also believe that each Apprentice brings a unique combination of skill-sets and life experiences beyond their formal education and we assess each applicant based on their potential value-add to the entire team.
Your responsibilities include:
We are looking for someone who:
Has had some experience/interest in project management (eg: events management, arts management, production management, construction management)
Pays great attention to detail, is highly organised, and has excellent time management
Has the tenacity to face challenges, never take ‘No’ for an answer, and sees inevitable problems as opportunities for innovation and creativity
Is independent and resourceful with a knack to making things happen through creative (and sometimes unorthodox) solutions
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills with a love for working with people
Is a thinker who is quick, strategic, and able to perform under stress
While related diploma or degree in Arts & Events Management, Architecture & Urban Studies, or related fields are NOT a pre-requisite, we would prefer someone who has an understanding and experience in these fields. Those without the necessary experience or qualifications will still be considered if applicant is able to communicate why they fit the role.
