3 is a crowd is a sculpture and performance work addressing the still nature of objects made into a sculptural form via human kinetics.

The intention is to allow the object to retain a part of its original nature while being re-configured into another state. In this case, the motion of tires are retained via caster wheels but the shape of its movement is altered.

The tires are also grouped into 3s because: 1 is alone. 2 is a couple. 3 is a crowd, and awkward, especially when in a line.
