The pinwheel is the simplest form is a child's toy made of a wheel of folded paper attached by an axle to a stick with a pin. It is designed to spin when blown upon by a person or by the wind.
The pinwheel traditionally represents the changing of the future. For many the pinwheel is an icon for childhood innocence and happy memories of youthful experiences. The pinwheel acts as a Space Anchor, Wayfinder and a form of Engagement and a Space Anchor.

Recycled tyres are given a new lease of life as seats, tables and playground props. This is all about using design to bring delight at minimum waste.

30 solar panels fitted out at the rooftop of National Design Centre, not only to provide shade but also generate power for the various activities taking place at Transitional___02. Together with an interactive dashboard that shows the amount of power generated and consumed, in education of the public about the potentials of solar energy in Singapore.
