Revolution is a term defined as a forcible overthrow of a government or social order in favour of a new system or an instance of revolving. A necessary aspect of movement, an natural everyday order. This collaborative performance piece is a trinity that explores various features of the term, Revolution.

The first performance will see the artists conform to the natural order of Revolution (i.e. instance of revolving).

Following this, the artists will resist the natural order of Revolution (i.e. resistance of a system).

Lastly, the artists’ final performance will explore the removal of the previous conditions by using unnatural and subverted movements mirroring extraterrestrial activity.

Chand Chandramohan

Born in 1992, she has graduated with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art from Lasalle College of the Arts. Through practice, she has an inclination towards a performance medium with surrealistic tendencies. Her main practice is exploring the medium of performance art whether be it deconstructing time, space, or the relationship between the audience and the performer. She is highly interested in deconstructing aspects of performance art and reconstructing them again, through research or through the medium itself.

Malvina Tan

Malvina wishes she was living in the 1980s. Having traveled through time, she feels strange in her surroundings. “Extreme interests in human beings, I dissect them physically and emotionally, then translate my findings through my art.” Often, her life experiences and memories are the central focus of her mixed media installations and performance art works.
